She spent over twenty-five years studying how emotion lives in the body — training in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), reflexology, somatic healing, inner child work, and trauma-informed nervous system regulation.
What she discovered was simple but life-changing: when the amygdala senses threat, the body releases cortisol to protect us. But when that emotion isn’t processed, the signal doesn’t turn off — and we keep “chasing the tiger,” even when life looks calm. That trapped energy shows up as anxiety, exhaustion, or emotional heaviness.
So she did what any good mom (and natural problem-solver) would do — she took the best parts of everything she’d learned and created something new.

The Science Behind Her Work
Before creating her own process, Julie spent decades studying how the body holds on to emotion.

She trained under psychoanalyst Steven Kessler, studied multiple trauma-informed modalities, and spent years understanding nervous system regulation and the impact of unprocessed experiences.
What began as a search for answers became a lifelong study of how the mind and body store pain — and how, when given the right conditions, they know exactly how to heal.
