A Letter, Mom to Mom
If you're reading this, I imagine you're searching—
for answers, for peace, for something that finally helps your child.
I see you. Because I was you.
I did everything I knew to do.
Therapy. Diets. Routines. Books. Specialists.
I followed every path that was supposed to help.
But nothing was truly working.
What I didn’t realize at the time was this:
My child’s nervous system was holding so much more than anyone could see—
the bullying… the accidents… even her traumatic birth.
Things she couldn’t explain.
Experiences she had pushed down.
Pain I didn’t even know she was carrying.
I would’ve done anything—
Sold my house. My car.
Nothing would’ve stopped me from getting to the root…
if only I had known what it really was.
But no one told me to look there.
For years, I tried to fix things on the surface,
all while unknowingly passing on what I hadn’t healed in myself.
I didn’t know how my own pain—my anger, my physical tension, my survival mode—
was affecting her nervous system, too.
I didn’t know that kids feel everything—
even when we think we’re hiding it well.
And I certainly didn’t know that when I began to heal,
she would start to settle, too.
That realization changed everything.
After 25 years of searching, studying, and stumbling…
I found a gentle, powerful way to support my child’s nervous system—through my own.
I created this process for the mom who’s already done everything.
The one who still feels like something’s missing.
The one who knows her child feels things deeply—maybe more than others.
The one who is willing to try again… if it means real healing is possible.
If that’s you, I want you to know:
You’re not failing.
You’re not crazy.
And you’re not too late.
There is a way forward.
And it might be simpler than you think.
Lovingly,
Julie

If you’re here, chances are you’ve already done everything you know to do.
And maybe—like I was—you’re still searching.
I want you to know: this work isn’t something I read about in a book.
It’s something I lived, every day, for years—trying to help my own children heal.
This process was born out of desperation, devotion, and a deep knowing that there had to be more.
What I guide other moms through today is what I desperately needed back then.
